PROJECT DESCRIPTION

Göz Kararı; is a smart recipe assistant

Designed for: Young people who try to learn cooking, Mothers, Chefs

Function: It was designed to be able to save and repeat the recipes made with eyeballing.

Goals of this project: It is to enable its users that don't take measurements while achieving consistency in the kitchen to share their unique recipes with other users to prepare these recipes in the same way.

Method: Thanks to the scale in the product, the user can save the name of the ingredients by voice command or typing while Göz Kararı doing the measurement process automatically.
The whole process can be documented with the inbuilt camera on the product.

SURVEY

  • I conducted a survey with 17 users who are in the target audience for the product, I aimed to get information about how they find recipes, create recipes, share recipes, and the types of measurements they use.

  • According to the results of the survey, most people use recipes for making desserts, so we designed the product for desserts and pastries.

  1. How often do you search recipes while cooking?

  2. In what situations do you use recipes? (Multiple choices)

  3. Where do you get the recipes? (Multiple choices)

  4. For which types of food do you use recipes? (Multiple choices)

  5. Do you share your recipes?

  6. If your answer to the above question is yes, please mark the ways you share them.

  7. How often do you share your recipes?

  8. Where do you save your recipes?

  9. How often do you use the following measurement types while cooking?

  10. In which situations do you eye-ball your recipes? (Multiple choices)

  11. How often can you keep the same consistency and taste of the dishes you make? (while eye-balling it)

PRODUCT UI

According to the results of the survey, I used the most used measurement types (Water glass, Tea glass, Tablespoon, Dessert spoon, Teaspoon) as the main measurement units in the product interface. Measurements can be changed from the app.
