Project Description:

As LOTUS floats above the pet fishes in aquariums or fishbowls at home, It monitors the conditions momentarily to tell if they are survivable.

This idea came out of the school project "happiness meter". Considering the fish, I tried to redefine the sense of happiness.

​

The sense of happiness is a chemical process for mammals. The hormones we secrete as mammals make us feel emotions and result in the situation we call happiness. Since fish is a primitive animal in evolutionary terms, its happiness is directly related to the quality of its vital conditions such as water and food.

 

A good environment makes the fish happy!
